Dehradun, Dec. 1 -- Uttarakhand Governor's residence, officially called Raj Bhawan will now be known as Lok Bhawan.
A notification issued by the office of the governor Lt Gen Gurmeet Singh claimed that Raj Bhawan has been renamed as Lok Bhawan after the approval of union home ministry.
"This is a notification stating that, with the approval of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and the governor of Uttarakhand, name of the "Raj Bhavan" (Governor's House) located in Dehradun and Nainital is officially changed to Lok Bhavan.
