Dehradun, Jan. 17 -- Uttarakhand government will produce biofuel pellets from mule dung to prevent pollution in Kedarnath Valley during the Chardham pilgrimage season.

Dhami cabinet has approved a pilot project for the conversion of mule dung into eco-friendly fuel pellets at Kedarnath Shrine area.
The Dhami cabinet decision came in wake of rising complaints of pollution caused to the valley and Kedarnath temple track by the mule dung, particularly during Chardham pilgrimage season every year.
