Dehradun, Sept. 8 -- A central inter-ministerial team arrived in Uttarakhand today to assess the damage caused by a series of natural disasters across the state. The team will visit six districts, including Uttarkashi and Chamoli, which suffered the most damage.
Upon arrival, the team met with Vinod Kumar Suman, Secretary of Disaster Management and Rehabilitation, at the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) in Dehradun. Suman presented an overview of the state's assessment of the damage.
Following the presentation by Suman, central government team left for the districts to visit the disaster affected areas.
