New Delhi, April 29 -- Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu here on Tuesday and discussed ways to develop the aviation sector in the state.
Dhami informed the Union Minister that a total of 524.78 acres of land has been transferred by the Uttarakhand Government to the Airports Authority of India for increasing the runway length of Pantnagar Airport from 1,372 meters to 3,000 meters.
The Master Plan of Pantnagar Airport has been prepared by Airports Authority of India (AAI). He requested the Union Minister to expedite the work of AAI.
