Dehradun, Aug. 19 -- The Uttarakhand Assembly witnessed uproar on the opening day of the monsoon session as the opposition entered the well and overturned a table demanding discussion under Rule 310 on the panchayat poll violence and law and order in the state. Assembly proceedings were disrupted but Speaker Ritu Khanduri did not allow longer adjournment of the assembly.
Led by Leader of the Opposition in the assembly Yashpal Arya, Congress MLAs entered the well of the house.
