Thiruvananthapuram, Jan. 9 -- UST's annual culinary festival-cum-fundraising event, Yummy Aid, raised Rs 3.21 lakh for women empowerment and social welfare initiatives, with enthusiastic participation from employees at the company's Thiruvananthapuram campus.
The 12th edition of Yummy Aid, organised by NowU (Network of Women U.S. Sociates), a volunteer organisation that supports the professional development and mentoring of women employees at UST, featured a vibrant display of home-cooked delicacies prepared and sold by staff members.
As many as 18 teams set up food stalls, attracting over 6,000 USsociates to the event. A total amount of Rs 3,21,464 was collected through food sales.
