Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 30 -- UST, a leading AI and technology transformation solutions company, has announced a strategic investment in Kaynes Semicon to establish a Rs 3,330 crore joint venture in semiconductor manufacturing under the "Make in India" initiative.
The collaboration aims to set up a world-class Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test (OSAT) facility at Sanand, Gujarat. The initiative is expected to play a pivotal role in India's efforts to become a global semiconductor hub and boost self-reliance in advanced electronics, electric vehicles, renewables and consumer technology.
