Washington, Sept. 8 -- Amid the White House' ongoing tussle with the judiciary, US Treasure Secretary Scott Bessent has said that should the Supreme Court rule against President Donald Trump's reciprocal tariffs, then the Treasury will issue rebates for half the tariffs.
"We would have to give a refund on about half the tariffs, which would be terrible for the Treasury," Bessent said during an appearance on NBC News, reports CNN.
"If the court says it, we'd have to do it," he added.
