Washington, Nov. 13 -- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said "there's some concern" among officials in Washington with regard to the recent spate of settler violence in the West Bank between Jewish nationalists and Palestinians, voicing worries over the possible fallout that could unravel in its aftermath, potentially undermining all efforts being made at maintaining the volatile ceasefire in Gaza.

"Certainly, there's some concern about events in the West Bank spilling over and creating an effect that could undermine what we're doing in Gaza," Rubio told reporters in a press briefing on Wednesday, adding that hopefully the recent bout of violence will not undermine the ceasefire.
