Washington, July 31 -- The United States has signed trade agreements with Thailand and Cambodia following a ceasefire between the two Southeast Asian nations, which U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick credited to direct intervention by former President Donald Trump.

Speaking to Fox News, Lutnick stated, "Donald Trump solved the war between Thailand and Cambodia. I listened all day Saturday as he called Cambodia, then Thailand-back and forth. And what happened Monday? They announced a truce. And today, we finalized trade deals with both countries."
