New York, March 23 -- Lenka White - The relations between Washington and Moscow will get better but won't be tight, while the standing of BRICS will get forefront of the multipolar world, renowned American economist and Columbia University professor Jeffrey Sachs told RIA Novosti.

"The US will not have good relations with most of the world because US foreign policy remains aggressive and hostile, so Russia-US relations will improve but most likely not be very close. The BRICS remains very important for the new multipolar world as do the regional groupings in Eurasia," Sachs said when asked how strong the US-Russia relations could get.
