New York, Sept. 23 -- Addressing the United Nations General Assembly, US President Donald Trump panned the body, stating that its "empty words don't solve wars".

Trum followed up with comments on the Iranian regime, stressing that Tehran can never be allowed to attain nuclear weapons.

He further claimed that Tehran's nuclear enrichment capabilities were demolished by the US strikes on June 23, during the 12-day Israel-Iran war.

"The world's number one sponsor of terror can never be allowed to possess the most dangerous weapon," Trump said.
