Washington, Sept. 2 -- US law enforcement arrested over 200 people in Washington, DC, with around 20 illegal gun seized on the past Labor Day weekend, US Attorney General Pam Bondi said on Tuesday.
"Over 200 arrests this Labor Day weekend with nearly 20 illegal guns seized-including 70 arrests and 3 guns recovered last night," Bondi wrote on X.
She added that the mission is to make the US capital safe again.
In late August, Bondi said that US law enforcement had arrested over 1,000 people and seized more than 100 illegal firearms as part of federal measures to combat crime in Washington.
