Tehran/Washington, April 27 -- Tensions between the United States and Iran show no signs of easing as both the United States and Iran have intensified diplomatic activity.
President Trump is set to huddle with his top national security advisers Monday to go over the options on the table including whether to restart military operations against Iran.
On the Iranian side, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has been on a diplomatic sprint, touching down in Russia, Oman, and Pakistan in quick succession. The flurry of travel comes after Iranian lawmaker questioned Pakistan's role as a mediator, labelling it biased and tilting towards US interests.
