Washington, Sept. 23 -- US Ambassador to Turkey and special envoy to Syria Thomas Barrack said that the Lebanon-based Islamic hardline militant-political group - Hezbollah has "zero" incentive to lay down their arms, as Israel's military campaign in Gaza, and strikes in Syria, Lebanon, Iran, and Qatar have exacerbated security worries in the Middle East.

In an interview with UAE-based IMI media, he said, "I mean, this is the problem, especially when Israel is attacking everybody," reports Times of Israel.

"Israel is attacking Syria. Israel is attacking Lebanon. Israel is attacking Tunisia. As it goes on, their argument gets better and better as we're here to protect the weapons from Israel," he remarked.
