Washington, Aug. 24 -- US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth, following a review of the Iranian strikes on June 22, has fired the Pentagon's intelligence chief, Lt. Gen Jeffery Kruse, along with two other military commanders.
The development comes a week after the White House rebuked a previous review, assessing the impact of American strikes on Iran, reports the BBC. The Defence Department did not clarify the reason behind the firing.
