Washington, Aug. 12 -- Supplies of US smartphones to the European Union in June of this year decreased by a quarter year-on-year, with Germany and France showing the strongest drop among major buyers, a Sputnik analysis of US statistics data showed on Monday.
The US exported $17.3 million worth of smartphones to the EU in June, a 26% decline year-on-year and a 15% increase in monthly terms. In the first half of the year, supplies amounted to $100.5 million, a third less than a year ago.
