Moscow, Aug. 12 -- The United States has canceled a virtual meeting between the US and Brazilian finance ministers on tariffs scheduled for August 13 due to "lack of agenda", Brazilian Finance Minister Fernando Haddad said.
"The virtual meeting scheduled for Wednesday was canceled," Haddad told GloboNews on Monday.
According to the minister, Brazil received an email about the cancellation of the meeting.
"They justified [the cancellation of the event] by the lack of agenda. A very unusual situation. The trade issue is not in the center of attention," Haddad noted.
