Srinagar, Jan. 17 -- Amid the turmoil in Iran, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and Peoples Democratic Party President Mehbooba Mufti on Friday called the United States the biggest enemy of Muslim nations and accused it of systematically interfering in Muslim countries under the pretext of promoting democracy.
She alleged that such interventions were driven by economic interests, particularly oil and mineral resources.
Addressing a press conference, Mehbooba said, "This is America's habit of creating democracy in countries by overthrowing governments. This is completely wrong.
