Chennai, Feb. 13 -- KLA India Limited, a subsidiary of the US-headquartered leading semiconductorfirm KLA Corporation, on Friday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadugoverment committing an investment of Rs 3,510 crore for setting up a R and D and Innovation Campusin Chennai.
The fresh investment was aimed at building a long lasting semiconductor ecosystem anchored in talent,research and advanced engineering.
The MoU, facilitated by the Guidance Tamil Nadu and Trade and Investment Promotion departmentwas signed at the State Secretariat in the presence of Chief Minister M K Stalin and Minister forIndustries TRB Raaja.
