Washington, April 26 -- Investigators are currently reviewing the writings of the suspect behind the shooting at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, trying to piece the motive behind the attack, three federal law enforcement officials told CBS News. The materials were written on paper and were found in the hotel, the officials said.
Federal officials said handwritten materials recovered from the hotel are now under close review. According to sources, the writings suggest the suspect intended to target certain members of the Trump administration, though if there was any specific target or not is unknown.
