Washington, Sept. 12 -- The US administration has grown increasingly frustrated with Israel due to a lack of progress on the issue of the current war in Gaza, as per an anonymous US official.
The official said Tuesday's Doha airstrike has further fuelled the exasperation of US President Donald Trump and many of his close aides, who have begun to doubt whether Israel is at all interested in a hostage-release and ceasefire deal with Hamas,The White House- which had slammed Israel for breaching international law on territorial sovereignty by attacking a third country - expressed worries that the incursion could greatly undermine the already fragile mediation efforts aimed at securing hostage releases and a ceasefire.
