Hyderabad, Dec. 30 -- The supply of urea for the ongoing Rabi 2025-26 season remains stable across Telangana, with sufficient stocks available in all districts, officials said, assuring farmers that there is no cause for concern.

For the Rabi season (October-March), the Central Government allocated 20.10 lakh metric tonnes (LMTs) of fertilisers to the State, including 10.40 LMTs of urea. Against a pro-rata allocation of 5.60 LMTs of urea up to now, Telangana has received 5.70 LMTs, ensuring timely and adequate supplies.

So far, farmers have purchased 3.71 LMTs of urea during the season. An additional 2.15 LMTs is currently available at the district level through private dealers, cooperative societies and MARKFED buffer stocks. In total, 4...
