Jammu, June 12 -- In view of the recent notification issued by the Jammu and Kashmir government making Urdu language mandatory for the aspirants applying for the posts of the Naib Tehsildar, newly elected president of Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Jammu, Arun Gupta on Thursday appealed for rectification in the notification.

"The decision is discriminatory especially with the educated youth of Jammu," Gupta here told reporters at a press conference while pointing out the recent notification for filling the vacancies of Naib Tehsildar Urdu has been made mandatory.
