Shimla, Jan. 5 -- Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu inaugurated the second phase of the Citizen Connect Programme on Monday, under the state government's flagship initiative 'Clean City, Prosperous City', asserting that Himachal Pradesh is moving steadily towards self-reliance through inclusive and sustainable urban development.
Addressing the event, the Chief Minister said the state was witnessing a positive transformation, with focused efforts to tackle challenges arising from rapid urbanisation and population growth. He said the government was strengthening urban local bodies and leveraging technology to improve governance, transparency and citizen participation.
