Kasaragod, Sept. 25 -- In a tragic incident, a 43-year-old auto rickshaw driver took his own life by consuming acid due to feeling distraught after his vehicle was involved in an accident in which the three school children travelling in it suffered injuries.
A car rammed his autorickshaw on Tuesday in which all the three students suffered minor injuries. They were discharged from the cooperative hospital at Chengala, on Tuesday itself.
According to police, the deceased autorickshaw driver was identified as K Aneesh of Pallanchi in Delam pady grama panchayat in the district.
