Bhubaneswar, Sept. 14 -- All constitutional institutions, including the Judiciary, the Election Commission of India, Parliament, State Legislatures, and the Registrar General of India, must be protected, Orissa High Court Judge Justice Krishna Shripad Dixit said.
Delivering the Siksha 'O' Anusandhan Lecture Series titled "Making of Our Constitution" at SOA Deemed to be University today, Justice Dixit emphasized that respect for the rule of law is vital for the survival of the Constitution.
"If we do not uphold the rule of law, the Constitution will collapse," he said, noting that the Indian Constitution has endured despite more than 100 amendments.
