Lucknow, April 10 -- The Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission( UPERC) has issued a notification appointing 21-member State Advisory Committee, the largest statutory body in the state's energy sector.
The Chairman of the Electricity Regulatory Commission will be the Chairman of this committee, while both members of the Commission will also be members of the committee.
Additionally, five Additional Chief Secretaries-Energy, Agriculture, Food, MSME, and IID-are included in the committee. The Managing Director of the Power Corporation, Director (Electricity Safety), representatives from NEDA, UPSLDC, private discoms, and other important officials are also members, according to a notification by the UPERC here on Friday.
