Baghpat, Feb. 25 -- In a shocking incident in Sankrod village under Khekra police station limits of Baghpat district in Uttar Pradesh, a man allegedly killed his sister-in-law by attacking her with bricks today evening and after committing the crime, the accused reportedly attempted suicide by jumping from the roof of his house.
According to police, Naveen, a daily wage labourer and resident of the village, lived with his family, while his wife Chanchal was at home at the time of the incident. In the evening, Chanchal was busy with household chores when her brother-in-law, identified as Shaheen, suddenly attacked her with bricks. He allegedly struck her repeatedly, leading to her death on the spot.
