Sonbhadra (UP), Nov. 13 -- A 28-year-old woman burnt her ten-month-old son to death alive while he was sleeping, then hanged herself and committed suicide in the Babhani police station area of Sonbhadra district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Thursday.
Police sources said that Rajpati had returned from her parents' home to her in-laws' home in Jobedeh village of Asandih Gram Panchayat on Wednesday evening. "The family members had dinner and went to sleep. Rajpati, along with her ten-month-old son, went to sleep in a seperate room, while her elder son went to sleep with his maternal uncle," they said.
