Bahraich, Dec. 13 -- The menace of wolf attacks continues unabated in Uttar Pradesh's Bahraich district.
In a shocking incident early Saturday morning, a wolf reportedly carried away a one-year-old child who was sleeping beside her mother in Jaruwa hamlet of Godahiya No. 4 village under the Kaiserganj police station area. Panic has gripped the village, and a search operation is underway to trace the missing child.
According to police sources, the victim, one-year-old Aarvi, daughter of Ram Kumar, was sleeping with her mother, Ram Kumari, on the veranda of their house.
