Hathras, Sept. 10 -- A veterinary doctor was brutally murdered in the Chhndpa Kotwali area of Uttar Pradesh's Hathras district this evening, police said.
The deceased, Vinay Kumar (48), was attacked while working in his fields in Arjunpur village. Locals rushed to the spot after hearing a commotion and found his body lying in a pool of blood, with multiple injury marks.
According to reports, Dr. Vinay Kumar was working on contract at a government veterinary hospital in Mursan. He lived in Arjunpur with his wife and three sons.
The family stated that Dr. Vinay had ongoing disputes with some villagers for the past several months. A previous confrontation had also occurred around four months ago.
