Sonbhadra, Jan. 25 -- Three people, including a married couple, were killed and as many seriously injured in a head-on collision between a car and a pickup vehicle on the Murdhawa-Bijpur road in Sonbhadra district today.
The accident occurred near Vishdharwa Tola under the local police station limits.
According to the police, the victims in the car were on their way to Robertsganj to attend a birthday party when the accident took place. The deceased have been identified as Sanjay (60), a resident of Chetwa in Bijpur, Akhilesh (65) of Sevka Mod, and his wife Hiramani (58).
