Sonbhadra, Feb. 23 -- A shocking accident occurred on Monday in the Kirwani forest area under the Myorpur police station limits of Sonbhadra district, where six women were buried after a soil mound collapsed at an informal clay excavation site.
According to reports, the women had gone to the forest area to collect "Chhui" clay, as they did regularly.
During excavation, the soil in a pit-like quarry suddenly caved in, trapping all six women underneath. The collapse happened so abruptly that the victims had no time to react.
