Lucknow, May 4 -- P C Joshi, husband of former BJP MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi, passed away at Lucknow's SGPGI on Monday morning.
He breathed his last at around 7 a.m, informed his wife Rita Bahuguna Joshi through her X account.
According to family members, PC Joshi had been unwell for some time and was undergoing treatment at the SGPGI in Lucknow. His health suddenly deteriorated on Monday morning, following which he passed away.
PC Joshi was a mechanical engineer by profession and he married Rita Bahuguna in 1976. He was known for his simple, friendly, and disciplined personality.
Family members said the body would be taken to Prayagraj on late Monday evening and his cremation would be performed in Prayagraj on Tuesday with full rituals.
