Aligarh, March 17 -- A shocking incident took place in Aligarh where a 32-year-old patient, Vedpal, was allegedly shot inside a hospital ward and later succumbed to his injuries.
The incident occurred on Monday night at Renuka Hospital, located in the Quarsi police station area on Marris Road. Vedpal, a resident of Ahraula village in the Khair region, had been admitted for surgery on his fractured arm. After undergoing the operation, he was resting in his hospital room.
At around 10 PM, while his relatives were away, two assailants, suspected to be cops, entered the room and shot him at point-blank range in the forehead. The gunshot alerted hospital staff and another patient in the room. Doctor Parag Shekhar reportedly chased the attacker...
