Lucknow, Oct. 22 -- Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has strongly condemned the recent surge in violence and caste-based atrocities, including the brutal murder of a Dalit man near Mundera Chungi in Prayagraj.

In a post on social media platform X, she expressed deep concern over the growing number of "inhumane and shameful" incidents across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and other states.

Mayawati criticised the law and order situation, calling the incidents "extremely condemnable and worrisome."
