Sitapur, Oct. 17 -- A private ambulance lost control and overturned, resulting in the deaths of four individuals and leaving a young girl seriously injured.
The accident occurred on Friday morning in the Atariya area near the Hind Hospital on the National Highway.
According to Station House Officer Umakant Shukla, the ambulance was en route from Dehradun to Varanasi, carrying a patient.
The deceased include the ambulance driver, Gurmeet (40), the patient, Vishal Pandey (48), and another unidentified male passenger.
Additionally, a 40-year-old unidentified woman who was standing by the roadside was also killed on the spot.
