Gonda (UP), April 4 -- In a major step toward rural development and inclusivity, the Uttar Pradesh government has brought electricity to Manipur Grant Vantangiya village in Gonda district's Chhapia block, ending decades of darkness for its residents, official sources said here on Friday.
Sources said that home to around 80 tribal villagers, this remote settlement had long awaited electrification, which has now become a reality under the government's decisive policies and inclusive vision.
"The initiative reflects the Yogi government's unwavering commitment to uplifting villages, the poor and the marginalised, ensuring that no corner of Uttar Pradesh is left behind in development," they said.
