Gorakhpur, March 17 -- A shocking murder of a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader created panic in the Bargadwa area under Chilua Tal police station limits on Tuesday morning.
The victim, identified as Rajkumar Chauhan, was attacked while he was out on his routine morning walk.
According to eyewitnesses, unidentified assailants ambushed him and stabbed him repeatedly with knives. Reports suggest that he was stabbed nearly 50-60 times, leading to his death on the spot.
Upon receiving information, senior police officials rushed to the scene along with a heavy police force. A forensic team was also called in to examine the crime scene and collect crucial evidence. The body has been sent for post-mortem to ascertain the exact cause of death....
