Lucknow, Oct. 23 -- The National President of the All India Bhojpuri Samaj, Prabhunath Rai, today met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to brief him on preparations for the upcoming 41st Chhath Mahaparva and invited him to attend the event.

Rai also urged the Chief Minister to declare October 27 and 28 a public holiday for the Chhath Mahaparv.

During the meeting, CM Yogi issued necessary directives to officials to ensure a grand celebration of the festival in the state. He stated that the festival symbolises faith, cleanliness, and sun worship, and special care must be taken to ensure devotees face no inconvenience.
