Kushinagar, Oct. 23 -- A luxury sleeper bus travelling from Jaipur to Madhubani lost control and overturned after hitting a road divider near Bahadurpur police outpost, under the Tarya Sujan police station area in Kushinagar district early on Thursday morning.
The accident took place around 6 a.m., injuring more than 26 passengers, six of them seriously.
According to police reports, the bus was speeding and became uncontrollable while attempting to overtake a truck near Bahadurpur. It crashed into the divider with such force that it overturned, causing chaos among the passengers.
