Lucknow, Feb. 9 -- Uttar Pradesh Water Resources Minister Swatantra Dev Singh has warned the companies executing the Jal Jeevan Mission projects in the Bundelkhand and Vindhya regions that FIRs will be registered against the companies that fail to ensure clean water supply to all households within 30 days. Their contracts will also be terminated.
On Monday, the Water Resources Minister held a review meeting at the Lucknow office of the Jal Nigam (Rural) and issued a final ultimatum to the companies showing laxity in the projects.
