Meerut, Sept. 7 -- The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) has arrested Irfan, a fugitive accused in a double murder case and carrying a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head, from Nanded district in Maharashtra. He had been on the run for over 12 years after escaping police custody in 2013.
ASP Brijesh Singh of the STF informed during a press conference at the Meerut Police Lines that Irfan, a resident of Harra village under Sarurpur police station limits, was arrested from a shop near Mohamadia Masjid in Bajegaon village, Nanded Rural Police Station, Maharashtra, yesterday.
