Lucknow, Dec. 7 -- Uttar Pradesh has surpassed the milestone of 3 lakh (3,00,654) solar energy installations, marking a historic achievement in the state's renewable energy journey.
This accomplishment positions Uttar Pradesh among the top solar states in India, second only to Gujarat and Maharashtra, and represents a significant stride toward energy self-sufficiency, officials here today said.
Data shows that out of 9,83,915 applications, 3,00,654 installations have been completed, bringing the state's total solar capacity to 1,038.27 MW. These installations are delivering clean, affordable energy to thousands of families.
