Lucknow, March 4 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said that despite being rich in resources, the pace of development in Uttar Pradesh remained slow due to the indifferent attitude of the governments of opposition parties, but the situation changed rapidly after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government came to power.
During the discussion on the budget for 2025-26 fiscal in the Assembly, the CM said, "After the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government came to power in 2017, the wheel of development in the state has turned fast and its share in the country's GDP has reached 9.2 percent."
