UP's first dedicated footwear park to be set up in Kanpur

Kanpur, May 15 -- The Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) in an effort to advance efforts to strengthen the state's industrial infrastructure, is developing UP's first dedicated Footwear Park in the Ramaipur area of Kanpur, official sources said here on Thursday.

Sources said that the landmark project presents a significant opportunity for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).

"The park is envisioned as a hub for manufacturing a wide range of products, including uniforms, sports, casual, moccasins, ballerinas, sandals, PVC footwear and finished leather goods," they said.
