Lucknow, Sept. 23 -- The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has emerged as a pioneer in digital justice delivery through its e-Court system, launched in February 2020. The initiative was introduced to provide swift and accessible resolution of a growing number of consumer complaints, especially from homebuyers awaiting possession or refunds.
UP RERA was the first regulatory body in India to implement an e-Court system. Since its inception, the Authority has received 58,632 complaints, out of which 35,435 were filed after the launch of e-Courts. More than 27,817 of these have been resolved, reflecting the system's effectiveness in reducing delays and improving transparency.
