Lucknow, May 7 -- Uttar Pradesh recorded 372 deaths and 28,076 cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, a health bulletin said.
Highest 31 deaths were reported from Kanpur, followed by 30 in Hapur, 25 in Lucknow, seven in Varanasi, 10 in Jhansi, 16 in Hardoi, 10 in Chandauli, 11 in Sonebhadra, 13 in Gorakhpur, 12 in Meerut and 11 in Prayagraj.
Lucknow reported 1,982 fresh cases, 563 surfaced in Prayagraj, 779 in Kanpur, 1,288 in Gautam Buddha Nagar, 1,817 in Meerut and 1,122 in Saharanpur.
The active cases in the state have reached 2,54,118. In the past 24 hours, as many as 2,41,403 COVID-19 cases were conducted.
