Lucknow, Sept. 2 -- A delegation of senior officers of the Indian Foreign Service today paid a courtesy visit to Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel at Raj Bhavan in Lucknow.

On this occasion, the Governor told the officers that such training programmes offer opportunities to understand the government operations, developmental projects and public welfare programs at the grassroot level.

She expressed hope that this experience of the officers will help in invigorating India's reputation while serving abroad.
